The Texas Association of Parents and Educators of the Deaf (TAPED) is pleased to announce its 2025 scholarship opportunities for students and professionals committed to the education and support of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

The $1,500 PDSES Online Grant Application Closes March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST

Time is running out—parents have until the end of March to apply for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) $1,500 Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) grant. To qualify, students must be enrolled in a Texas public school (Pre-K–12), receive special education services through an IEP, and not have previously received a PDSES/SSES grant.

Dear TSD Community, PowerSchool, our student information system provider, recently experienced a global data breach, including TSD. The breach was contained before data could be shared, and all affected data has been destroyed. No passwords were accessed. PowerSchool is offering two years of free credit monitoring.
