Andrea Meehan

Educational Background:

Andrea graduated from Gallaudet University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education May 2010. After graduation, Andrea went on to serve AmeriCorps under Outreach Department at NMSD by teaching ASL across rural area spanning from Carlsbad, Artesia, Roswell, Ruidoso, Tucumcari, Hobbs, and Clovis. Upon completion of her service, she moved to Austin, TX to work as a teacher aide for physical education. There, she continued to work on her teacher certification before moving up to Physical Education teacher Fall of 2015.

Andrea also just earned her Master's degree in special education from Texas Tech University May 2019.

Hobby:

Andrea likes to draw, to spend time outdoors with her daughter, Blake, doing random stuff, to root for New England Patriots, and to binge on her favorite tv show.

What do you do to stay fit?

Andrea lift weights, during the week and take her road bike out for a spin on weekends.
