Greetings! I am Allen Hamilton, and I teach three courses: Introduction to Construction Technology, Construction 1, and Construction 2. The year 2023-2024 marks my tenth year working at TSD.

 

I grew up in Rochester, NY, where I graduated from Rochester School for the Deaf. Next, I attended NTID/RIT to receive an AAS degree in Electromechanical Technology. After that, I worked in many different capacities, such as a Farmer’s Helper to Property Maintenance, a Residential Advisor, an Assembler, a Device Technician, and a Renovation Specialist/Contractor in my own business for 11 years before landing a teaching position at TSD.

 

During my leisure time, I like to tackle the ever-non-stop long list to work on my old house built in 1968. Oddly, I am one year older than the house! In addition, I enjoy different outdoor activities: biking, swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking.
