Ms. Jennifer Campero
Welcome to my traveling class!
I am a Social Studies teacher who will take students around the world at no cost. They do not have to pack anything except to bring an open mind. Aside from my degrees from college (B.A. – Gallaudet, M.S. – McDaniel College, Social Studies Certification – Texas State University), I have experienced adventures that enable me to share geographical, historical, and cultural perspectives with students. Here is the list of things I have done...
* Zip-lined through a rain forest in Costa Rica
* Climbed on Mayan temples in Tikal National Park and on active Pacaya Volcano in Guatemala
* Rode on a helicopter and stood on Yanert Glacier in Denali National Park, Alaska
* Swam at the edge of a waterfall in Venezuela
* Witnessed the function of the Panama Canal in Panama
* Backpacked throughout the country of Italy
*Explored and tasted salt down in Hallien Mine, Austria
* Toured in the medieval old town of Rothenburg, Germany where cruel punishments were once in practice
* Took steps on the Great Wall of China
* Celebrated the Holi Festival in India
* And…saw the Earth from above by skydiving in Texas.
Now, let learning take the students around the world!
