Ms. Alysha Spires- Room 209
Hello there! I am excited to start off the 2024-2025 school year with you. This will be my second year teaching at TSD. I will be teaching both English 2 and a dual credit English course (Critical Reading and Writing). The dual credit course is new at TSD this year and it comes from Rochester Institute of Technology's University Writing Program.
Background:
I came to Austin, Texas from San Diego, California... two big cities that are distinctly different in their own ways. I have found some hobbies that I enjoy here in Austin, such as going to the park with my dog, trying new cafes, stand-up paddle boarding, and working out. However, I enjoy bringing my dog out to different places the most. My favorite fast food is Chipotle; favorite colors are black and purple; favorite sport is soccer; favorite T.V. show is Grey's Anatomy.
Education:
