Texas Capitol Schoolhouse
Monday, January 30th, six HS students from TSD attended a full day of learning and sharing STEM activities in the lower rotunda of the State Capitol. TSD students attending were: Shelby Cottam, Jacob Davis, Rebecca Giuntoli, Trent Mora, Tarique Sylvestor, and Gabriel Veit. The Texas Capitol Schoolhouse is a legislative event giving students and teachers across Texas the opportunity to showcase how technology is being used to improve public schools. The goal of the event is to provide information for legislators, state leaders, and the general public about how advanced technologies and best practices are improving the way teachers teach and students learn!
