Thirty-three players and and 3 coaches contributed to helping clear out paths filled with fallen logs and branches for a couple hours. Patty D'Andrea, the owner of the Healing with Horses Ranch, shared with the TSD coaches, "I was impressed with how much logs and branches the team cleared in such a short time! The TSD football team did an amazing job!"
TSD Ranger player Kodi's family joined the team to provide extra help. Kodi's mother, Katrina, commented, "We should do this more often!" The coaches asked the team about how it felt giving back to the community. The players responded in unison, "It felt really good!" TSD head coach John Moore, explained, "One of the ways we develop teamwork, unity and a bond among players - is through community service, and Healing with Horses Ranch was the perfect setting to do so".
The football team wants to thank Patty and the Healing with Horses Ranch for the opportunity to come and volunteer at their ranch. The players especially loved meeting the horses, and one miniature horse in particular, Oreo, joined us in the team picture! The collaborative approach the players took with Healing with Horses Ranch truly exemplifies the Ranger to Ranger - the Power of We motto for this year. Go Rangers!
