Austin, Texas – December 11, 2014 – Texas School for the Deaf’s (TSD) Performing Arts Program is proud to present its very first middle school student drama performance – Pinocchio – for two shows, Thursday, December 11 at 7:00 pm, and Friday, December 12 at 10:30 am, at the school’s R. L. Davis Auditorium – 1102 South Congress Avenue.
Audience members are in for a real treat as TSD students bring this timeless story of a wooden puppet to life, in American Sign Language (ASL).
The cast and crew members of TSD’s Pinocchio are very excited to invite you to attend their show and impart this special message:
“Together, we hope to remind each of you to be brave, honest, unselfish and most importantly, to wish.”
Because, as Pinocchio reminds us, “the most magical, fantastic things can happen, and it all starts with a wish.”
