Our 7th/8th Blue teams went up to Indianapolis for Iron Five at ISD. Both teams played well throughout the weekend.
Boys defended Iron Five title! We beat Fremont in the championship game, 37-34. For the weekend, our defense played superb, stopping/stalling other teams' best and go-to players. Boys went 4-1. We won back-to-back titles for the first time! Fremont won first 3 seasons!
Girls played well but not enough to win the title, though. Girls won 1 and lost 4, good enough for a 4th-place finish. Girls played their hearts out and they didn't give up till the end.
We represented TSD very well! Experience for our players is priceless and kudos to ISD for a great tournament and hospitality as well.
