TAPED Scholarships 2025: Opportunities for Students and Educators

Available Scholarships:

1. For Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students:

   • Graduating high school seniors enrolling full-time in a college, university, or trade school for the 2025-2026 academic year.​

2. For Aspiring Deaf Education Teachers:

   • Graduating seniors or current college students working toward becoming a Teacher of the Deaf in Texas.​

3. For Future Educational Interpreters:

   • Graduating seniors or current college students aiming to become Educational Interpreters in Texas.​

Scholarship Details:

• Four Scholarships for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students:

  • Emmaly Modisette Choice Scholarship: $1,000​

  • Sha Cowan Scholarship: $1,000​

  • Dorinne Cunningham Scholarship: $1,000​

  • Gary Curtis Scholarship: $1,000​

• One Scholarship for a Future Deaf Education Teacher:

  • TAPED Deaf Education Teacher Scholarship: $1,000​

• One Scholarship for a Future Educational Interpreter:

  • TAPED Educational Interpreter Scholarship: $1,000​
