The school is already abuzz with excited students participating in daily themed costume contests and spirit competitions.

It all leads up to a school-wide pep rally at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 18, with the entire campus, draped in blue and white, celebrating together ahead of the biggest day of the entire year.

TSD Superintendent, Peter Bailey, says “We are excited to welcome everyone to Homecoming 2024, see students, alumni, family, friends and neighbors come together, and fill the campus to celebrate this most cherished tradition every year for TSD Rangers.”

A full day of activities open to the public starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, the homecoming booth festival runs until 4:00 p.m., with tours of the campus and school museum, food booths, games and vendors.

At 1:00 p.m., the TSD JV Lady Rangers volleyball team faces the Austin Royals in TSD’s Seeger Gym, followed by the varsity match-up at 2:00 p.m.

The homecoming football pre-game festivities begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on TSD’s Rudolph Gamblin field, with kick-off at 5:30 p.m. when the Rangers meet the Alabama School for the Deaf on the gridiron, and crowning of TSD’s 2024 homecoming royalty at half-time.
