Spirit Week 2024: Get Ready for Homecoming!

Homecoming is fast approaching, and that means it's time to show off your school spirit during Spirit Week, running from October 15th to 18th! Each day has a special theme for what to wear in the morning, followed by fun activities in the evening.

Here’s the updated schedule for Spirit Week:

  • Tuesday (October 15th):

    • Morning Outfit: Dress up to the theme "Everything is Bigger in Texas" – show off your Texas pride!
    • Activity: Join the ASL Story challenge and showcase your creativity through storytelling in American Sign Language.
  • Wednesday (October 16th):

    • Morning Outfit: Coordinate with a friend for the Duo theme – dress alike or as a famous duo!
    • Activity: Participate in the ASL Song and Visual Vernacular competitions, where performances will take center stage.
  • Thursday (October 17th):

    • Morning Outfit: Wear your Class Colors – Freshmen in white, sophomores in blue, juniors in yellow, and seniors in red.
    • Activity: Compete in the A to Z ASL Story contest, showing your signing skills from A to Z!
  • Friday (October 18th):

    • Morning Outfit: Show your school spirit by wearing Blue & White for the big Homecoming day!
    • Activity: Wrap up the week with a Pep Rally at the volleyball game, followed by an Obstacle Course challenge.

Advisory Group activities will take place from 12:35–1:05 PM (Tuesday–Thursday) and 8:00–8:40 AM on Friday. Evening Activities will run from 6:30–8:30 PM each night in Seeger Gym.

The Spirit Week Champion will be announced at the Sophomores’ Homecoming Party on [date TBD], so make sure to participate throughout the week for a chance to win!
