Teen Dating Violence Awareness Presentation by a Deaf SHARE representative

On February 16th, The High School department hosted a department-wide educational presentation on Teen Dating Violence by Mr. Joe Gallagher, the Outreach and Education Manager of Deaf SHARE.

Mr. Gallagher provided essential information to our High School and 8th-grade Middle School students. The presentation focused on defining Teen Dating Violence, identifying warning signs, understanding healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics, and outlining preventive measures and available resources.

This informative event aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize and address teen dating violence.  TSD students were given information and resources on ways to foster a safer and more respectful environment within our school community.  Many thanks to Deaf SHARE and Mr. Gallagher for an educational presentation on a very important topic that affects many teenagers in the country.
