Healthy Relationships: Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

This year, we have planned an initiative: a special presentation by Safe on February 16th and Wednesday Wellness Booths during class transitions.

Wednesday Wellness Booths during class transitions, advisory time, and lunchtime on February 7th:

  • Our Wednesday Wellness Booth will be set up during class transitions.
  • Engage in quick, interactive activities to identify healthy and unhealthy behaviors in relationships.
  • Explore topics such as communication skills, consent, and creating a respectful atmosphere.

SAFE Presentation on February 16th:

  • On February 16th, two representatives from SAFE will deliver a presentation to the entire high school department.
  • Topics include recognizing warning signs, effective communication, and the importance of setting boundaries.
  • Students are encouraged to ask questions and gain valuable insights into maintaining respectful and safe relationships
Together, we can build a high school environment where healthy relationships thrive, diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. We have teen dating violence resources for parents and caregivers where they can support their children:
