In the heart of TSD for over two decades, Christine, affectionately known as "Star," is the backbone of our administrative team. Her passion lies in witnessing students' growth, from their first day to the triumphant graduation, fostering confidence along the way.
Christine cherishes the closeness of the Deaf community at TSD, finding convenience and unity in having everything in one place. Beyond the school halls, her journey includes a surprising encounter with Queen Elizabeth during the 1992 UCA All Star Parade in London, where she was the only deaf representative amidst 5000 cheerleaders.
Newcomers to TSD receive valuable advice from Christine – embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and grow stronger. Her positive outlook and resilience inspire those around her, creating a culture of continuous learning.
Away from her administrative duties, Christine finds joy in simple pleasures – a cold Mountain Dew, the company of her "babies" (pets), and Netflix and chill with her family. As we celebrate 22 years of Christine "Star" at TSD, her dedication and unexpected royal encounter make her a shining star in our community.
