Creep and crawl your way through Austin’s first Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival benefiting the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD). Bring your family and friends to our school’s beautiful South Congress campus for an evening filled with Halloween fun for everyone, including trick-or-treating for the little ones, costume contests and much, much more.

The Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival is part of a series of community awareness and fundraising activities in TSD’s Language For All Campaign. With public education budgets dwindling, deaf and hard of hearing students’ access to language is being threatened. TSD is embarking on an ambitious campaign to inspire Texans to support the fundamental right to language for all of its citizens—including deaf and hard of hearing students.

Come out to the Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival for a fun-filled evening that supports a great cause.

Special treat for groups: the 3 largest teams who arrive for the 5k fully costumed will win prizes! First prize: $300 gift certificate at Freddie’s, Second prize: $200 gift certificate at Freddie’s, Third prize: pizza party at ZAX!
